One of my favorite mine and Elycia's favorite pastimes is to take outfit photos together. (See here, here, here, here, here + my personal favorite here!) These are admittedly not my best photos, it was sunny, we had limited shade to work in, and Milo wasn't having the best time which meant we were a bit rushed but I am seriously just so happy to have photos of Elycia and I together. I originally wanted to post this on her birthday (May 26th) and make it a super sweet post but kind of screwed my scheduling. Blame it on pre-vacation brain! Just over one week, y'all! Regardless of the date, any day is a good day to let someone know how much they mean to you, right? I am so happy I met this girl. It's crazy how the internet can bring two people together. We have a blast, no matter what we're up to. As a bit of a loner I appreciate that we can not see each other, and barely speak (whoops!!!) for months at a time but just pick up where we left off like it's no big deal. I so wish they lived closer though. I spent the three days they were here trying to convince them that Cleveland was the place for them. Alas that free health care you Canadians have is better than eating the most delicious ice cream of your life everyday of your life.

This was such a great day, it already feels like it was a lifetime ago though. We took these photos in front of a bridge, it wasn't my first choice but one of the only close shady spots I could think of. Right beside the bridge is a fire station. While we were shooting a firefighter started walking over. I assumed we were about to get kicked off the property but to my surprise the first words out of his mouth were "Did you guys see the fire boat? I can take you on it!"  So we went on the fire boat. The dude was even kind enough to turn on the pumps for us so we could watch it shoot water. It was way cool! Even if you weren't interested in being on an old boat (which I don't see how that's possible!) the fact that the firefighter was so pumped to show it off was really exciting. Of course, I didn't take more than a handful of photos. That always seems to happen. But I did capture this sweet one of Ivan and Milo watching the water spray. (If you're super interested in seeing the boat there are a bunch of pictures of it here.)

Hope you're having a fabulous start to your week!
xoxo

PS. Send someone you don't see often a piece of mail, or even a text today! Let them know you're thinking of them. I promise it will make their day.
