Over the weekend Jeff and I celebrated our one year anniversary. We hit an estate sale, walked around Chagrin Falls, looked for beach glass, then laid around in bed watching Bob's Burgers for the rest of the day until we were hungry enough to bike to our favorite pizza place. For some reason there were tons and tons of dogs there so we spent the insanely long wait for a few slices laughing at dogs. It was a lazy day, and it was perfect. We're both people who hate sitting still. Laying around and doing nothing is basically my idea of the most stressful day ever but I really don't think we could have done anything more relaxing for our anniversary. We even took a nap, and it was the coziest nap of my life. (I normally hate naps.) As we were laying in bed at the end of the night, both with heavy eyelids, I murmured something along the things of "I wish this day would never end".
What girl doesn't love a man who picks her flowers and then shoves them in her face as the camera timer goes off?
Can I get sappy here for a minute? No? I don't care, going to anyway... I love this dude. 2014 was a crazy year for me, a life changer for sure. I met Jeff right after moving to Cleveland and he has been my rock ever since. He's the best friend I always dreamed of having and the very best travel partner I could imagine. He's introduced me to more new things that I can even begin to name and is always encouraging me to push myself out of my comfort zone. He's super with Klaus and the cats which just melts my heart (Guess that's my brain saying "Oh hey, he's probably going to be good with kids." Ohhh, and he looks gooood holding babies!) I adore his family which is such a huge deal! He makes me feel safe. Being with him is being home, no matter where we are. Plus he's the one responsible for getting me on a bike and that alone is worth something, eh? Hehe!
Here's to many more years of adventures with this dude!
