I think the biggest change since the first time I shared photos of the room might actually be a small one, the TV. A few people even mentioned in the original post how neat they thought was I didn’t have a television in my living room. When I moved in I figured the best place for my TV was my bedroom so I could watch Netflix in bed, which I definitely do every night! I rather like falling asleep to noise. But I missed sitting on the couch and watching TV. It’s not that I missed certain shows but I missed the routine of folding laundry and watching TV, or curling up on my couch to watch a movie. With winter coming, I will inevitably be spending more time indoors so I’m happy to have finally added the final thing the room seemed to be missing.

really nice… love the sofa 🙂
Thanks, Julia!
Your home is lovely! I LOVE the mirror-globes and the blue couch. It even matches the eyes of your cat (really important). x kayleigh // mylittlejeans
Thank you, Kayleigh. Haha! I looove taking his picture on the couch since it does match his eyes.
Two things: 1. Where did you get that (I think) constellation map next to the big skeleton poster? And 2. Can you post a picture of the two glass cabinet doors that are in the background of the second picture? Thanks, Kaylah!
It's from a book called "The Stars", you can find copies of it on ebay.
There are pictures of those cabinets in this post:

Your lounge room is just incredible. I love all the house plants and wall hangings, and those windows are just beautiful!
Thanks!! 🙂
It's really exciting to see someone who enjoys bukowski as much as I do.

Thank you so much! 🙂
Your apartment looks lovely! It's seems to have so much natural light, and the sofa looks very inviting to spend some autumny afternoons on 🙂 I love the mid century furniture style, and I kinda wish I had the money right now to redecorate my own living room with those. If I would see these pictures in a random place, I'm sure the way of decorating with the plants and the subjects on the posters would make me think of you!
Thanks so much!! 🙂
Those windows are awesome, so much light!
I know, they have to be my favorite part of the whole apartment!! They're perfect!
I'm so in love with that anatomy pillow! You've done such a great job with this space! So pretty!

Get out of here, THAT'S AMAZING!!!!
it looks so pretty! I especially like the mirrored map tiles, and the icecream 🙂
Thanks, Laura! 🙂
I have no idea if this compliment will sound weird or not, but I really love that you have so many collections, but at the same time your apartment always looks so put together perfectly, and not cluttered 🙂
Haha, I actually hear that quite often! 🙂
I love seeing pictures of your living room, so inspiring to look at! What's the spiky coral-like plant on the coffee table? it's really cool!
They're called Firesticks.
🙂
What a beautiful space. I would love to live there! Your taste in decorating is wonderful and I adore how all of the beautiful colors come together in your home. 🙂 Very envious of your giant windows as well. xoxo

Thanks, Elif! 🙂
I've been following your blog for about a year now, I found your Instagram first and practically fell in love with your style and photographs. You have amazing talent and you inspired me to get back into photography. Something I left when I left high school and don't know why I ever did. Thank you for running this blog. Also, your home is beautiful.
Oh my goodness, thank you so much Sheridan!! I'm so happy to hear you're getting back into photography. 🙂
Your living room looks amazing! The ice cream cone is definitely my favorite 🙂

Your living room is just perfect, it looks so cozy. And I can't get over how amazing those windows are!
Thanks!!
I know!! I'm certainly going to miss them when I eventually move on.
This is hands down one of the coolest living rooms I've ever seen. I do also love how you have so much of what you love and collect on display yet the place is still tidy. It's so great.
Thank you, Charity! 🙂
Your decor is absolutely amazing but man you hit the jackpot with those windows.
Oh, I know!!!!
I love how you recycled someone's wedding photos, I hate how old photos like that get thrown away.

My mom has those world mirrors in her black and white themed bathroom. I love them.
I wish I had your knack for having lovely things on display without the room looking cluttered. You've got so many great treasures!
I love that your living room is fairly minimal! By that I mean, you have three pieces of furniture and you've managed not to overwhelm the room with decorations. That's something Shawn and I have been struggling with every time we move. Our furniture was bought to fit our first ever apartment, and most of it doesn't suit our current place. And we have years of accumulated eclectic decor that we love, but that would overwhelm our place if we put it all out at once. I haven't posted any pictures of the place we moved into back in June because there isn't a single room that feels 'finished'. I love seeing other people's places as inspiration though!
Lovely! Those windows are amazing!

I have that blue pillow from Ikea 🙂 just reminds me my firts times at the laboratory on my biology degree :') I'm thinking of buying the fabric and make a comforter for the bed.
Your room is amazing!
I begin a collection of anatomy things but I am far of your accumulation! I laugh because my mother is dentist and she use a lot of "teeth color presentation" in her job like yours!!!!
Beautiful home and thanks to share these pictures with us!
I love the pillow od brain but I write to the site and it is out of stock!Bouhhh…maybe I can try to make one…I will think about it 😉
