Y’all, the weather has taken a turn here in Ohio! Not that that is anything out of the ordinary since the weather in Northeast Ohio is notoriously crazy but what I really mean is that fall has hit! Wahoo!! I’ve been enjoying days filled with hot chocolate, hoodies, and empty beaches. It’s pretty incredible how quickly it changed, but I’m certainly not complaining. It’s my favorite time of the year and this is kind of my favorite outfit. I’ve worn it just over a handful of times already since the weather has changed. The best thing about it is that I actually have multiple pairs of overalls and tons of striped shirts so I can basically wear a clean version of this same outfit all the time. Haha.
On another note, can we just take a second to talk about how small the pockets in ladies jeans are?! What am I even supposed to put in there? I actually had a bunch of quarters in my pocket (for laundry, I don’t normally just carry around a tiny pocket full of quarters, promise!) and I lost some because those pockets are so darn useless. I saw a thing the other day making fun of how girls always respond to the compliment “nice dress!” with “It has pockets!” But dang man, if womens pants had pockets that held anything we wouldn’t be so pumped about dresses that have actual useful pockets! Kind of a strange thing to rant about I guess, but it’s silly that I can’t even fit my keys in any of my pants pockets.

I so wish I could pull off overalls! I'm quite large in the chest, so to get something that fit would be gigantic everywhere else!
AND THE POCKETS. I totally agree. Pockets in dresses are awesome because I can hold my phone, keys, and Kindle in the SAME POCKET. They're gigantic and I love them. Unlike tiny jean pockets which make me so so sad.

Yeah, I had a hard time finding some that fit because I have a long torso! I'd try some on and they'd fit perfectly but be up my butt so bad. Haha!

I -love- dungarees! They are so comfortable and fun to wear ^_^ I understand the lack of decent pockets in girl jeans, it's such a pain! We like to carry things in our pockets too!
They are totally comfortable!! So much more so than jeans somehow.
This outfit is so cute, I really like it! Ugh pockets really do suck on girls jeans, I can fit my phone in my back pockets on SOME of my jeans, but it looks like it's about to fall out. And the front pockets? Forget it, nothing's going in there!
Yeah, I have a hard time trusting back pockets with my phone. I'm constantly reaching back to make sure it's still there.

Dresses and skirts with pockets are the best. It seems like pockets on women's jeans are just there for decoration. I actually have a pair of corduroys that have FAKE POCKETS on the front. Such a tease.

My husband always jokes about how small the pockets in my jeans are compared to his. I mean he could carry a small animal and I can barely fit a chap stick! Craziness.
It blows my mind how HUGE pockets in mens jeans are. You can practically keep a kitten in them!

I recently got a pair of overalls from TJ Maxx that look similar and the brand is Tinseltown. I LOVE the fit, and it just so happens they are the same brand of high waisted jean perfection I got on super sale at Macy's a while back. Definitely worth checking out!
I love overalls. We call them dungarees where I live. I have a short pair and I just bought a long pair as well. Mine have a pocket on the chest. I love it, but I always forget my pocket is filled with stuff and it all falls on the floor when I go to the bathroom 😀

You are looking great with the overalls, with the image of your black & white striped laundry in mind (Instagram) your "wearing the same outfit" made me smile, big big fan of your wardrobe! 🙂 So true about the pockets, I guess it's only the aesthetics they are looking for not the usability.

Oh man, I don't think I've worn overalls since the early 00's! I was a big fan of short-alls mostly. I'd like to bring those back.
And I totally feel you on the pockets thing. Women's pockets are the most useless thing ever… I guess it's how stores make money selling purses and the like; if our pockets could actually fit anything in them, we wouldn't need such big bags!
Girl, I was rocking shorter-alls AAAALL summer long. They're my favorite! I might even own more pairs of those than regular shorts!

My husband and I literally just had a conversation the other day about how ridiculous women's pants pockets are! And it's so true about the dress compliment. They're the best thing ever even if you don't use. Their existence alone is awesome haha

I agree about the pockets! I often have "girls clothes are lacking in the pocket area" rants myself. Another thing I cannot understand is why male blazer jackets have inside pockets and ladies' do not. Why not? I want to be awesome and pull out my wallet or flask or matches or whatever from the secure inside pocket, too 🙁 haha
