Not too long ago Jeff took me to the ruins of an old power plant that just so happen to be next to a beautiful waterfall. It just occurred to me while looking at the draft for this post that I didn’t even take one photo of the whole thing. Hah! Guess I was a bit distracted by the abundance of mushrooms.
Once again, I’m amazed by all the little things you could miss if you don’t look hard enough. Ohio is a pretty darn awesome state that certainly doesn’t get the credit it deserves.

That's all Jeff! He seriously knows of so many incredible places!
This is stunning, you make people want to get off of the beaten track and explore.
I hope so! 🙂
Awesome! What kind of mushrooms are those?
Not 100% sure, there are a few different kinds there.
That place looks absolutely stunning! It reminds me of a place that could be explored in an RPG and there are hidden treasure chests full of Potions and Phoenix Downs near by!
Haha! I can totally see that!
I've been following your blog for a while now and I gotta say I think it's my favorite one. My kind of gal.

Aw, thank you so much, Jennafer!
Ruins are pretty much the coolest. I've been wanting to visit these local shipwrecks for a while now, but unfortunately I have to wait until winter because the beach you have to park at is "residents only" in the summer! But these photos are so inspiring, as your adventures always are, and it makes me wanna go on my own adventures all the more.
Aw man, that sounds awesome!! I wanna see pictures of it when you do go.
Great photography.
Thank you!
Oh gosh, I could totally live in those ruins!!!
It would probably be a pretty cool place to camp for the night.
Eee those mushrooms are so cute!
Aren't they!?!
Wow these are a collectin of really amazing pictures. I agree with you, there's beauty in everything. xx

Thank you so much, Joyce!
That looks amazing! One of my favourite trips ever was to a gorgeous woodland which had the ruins of an old (very old) gunpowder factory in it. There's something about the juxtaposition of man-made and industrial with nature. Loving the mushrooms too! I think there are always awesome things to be discovered wherever you live, just have to take the time to find them 🙂
That sounds awesome! I really love that too. I always love finding trees and other green things growing inside abandoned buildings.
I love how you always seem to find the most beautiful places! I'd love to go exploring some abandoned places near where I live but the law is very unclear surrounding urban exploring which makes things difficult. I can't wait to see where you find next!
