The Destash Squid - The Dainty Squid

The Destash Squid

Friday, December 06, 2013

If you've been around these parts a long time you might recall when The Dainty Squid was also a sewing business, that's actually how this all started. I closed down shop in May of 2012 because it wasn't quite what I wanted to do anymore and I was absolutely burnt out. But I've still been hoarding away all of my fabric. Believe me, I have A LOT. I'm finally ready to part with it so I've decided to reopen The Destash Squid for a limited time to sell off the remainder of my supplies.
I have scrap lots (which normally sell out fairly quickly, so jump quickly if you want one), oodles of zippers, fat quarter packs, and lots of other sizes of fabric. I'm selling my prized stash of camera fabric in both blue and brown (it was always my best seller!) and even some super rare Heather Ross Unicorn fabric.

I'm more than well aware that the shipping costs can get out of hand quickly but it's so hard to set up shipping profiles when I have no idea which items someone might buy together. The weight of fabric adds up quickly. There are two options - purchase and be refunded excess shipping costs or send me over a message on etsy with what you want and where you live and I'll give you a much better estimate of how much it will cost to ship it. The second option might not be the best idea though since what's listed is all I have, when it's gone - it's gone forever.

You can find the shop here! Thank you in advance to anyone who purchases something. TDS as a sewing business was a HUGE part of my life. I wouldn't be where I am today without it. It's bittersweet finally letting go of all my supplies but I'm happy these awesome fabrics will be used instead of being stashed away in boxes.
xoxo
