captured on film

Thursday, October 10, 2013

I have film photos to share today that don't really have common theme. Just some cute pictures of Klaus, my indoor greenhouse (...uh, I mean, my office!), an abandoned building I pulled over to take pictures of and more. I made the goal of shooting 30 rolls of film this year and I've far surpassed that. I think I've finally gotten into the habit of shooting film regularly instead of binge shooting then forgetting all about it for a while.
Speaking of camera stuff, I'm expecting a new lens in the mail today! I finally bit the bullet and bought a real macro lens, instead of the filters I was using before. The filters are totally great if you're not super serious but lately I've just been wanting more. I can't wait to go out on a hike after it gets here.

All of the photos above were taken with a Canon T2 and Fuji 35mm Superia X-TRA 400.

  1. Such beautiful photos. Like I've said in your previous film posts, I really really need to get back in to it. Film photography is so beautiful, and I have some great cameras which are just collecting dust on the shelf.

I love abandoned buildings; we have some around my town, too. Those are creepy places, but one day I'll be brave enough to take my dog (who totally loves everything to do with adventure!) and go in there...well, maybe:)
