How great is this shirt!? I've been stalking it on Modcloth for a while now and when it was finally available in my size I snatched it up right away. Crypotozoology, if you're not familiar, literally translates to the study of hidden animals. While I'm not necessarily sure I believe in Bigfoot, aliens or the Loch Ness monster I sure think they're interesting. Bonus points for the shirt having a jackalope on it too, I love jackalopes! (hence the giant one tattooed on my stomach which I coincidentally just finished up over the weekend.) And to make it even better, the shirt is glow in the dark too. I'm not sure what this recently obsession with glow in the dark things is but it's fun!

These shoes are something else. I absolutely had to have them the second I saw them, there was no hesitation at all. I love all those straps. Plus I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong with a pair of black flats, they match everything. But the first day I wore them out I got what were literally the gnarliest blisters I have ever seen on each of my baby toes. The weirdest thing is that they never really hurt while I was wearing them but when I got home and took them off I discovered these massive, literally the size of my whole toe, blisters. I'm determined not to give up on these shoes though. Toughen up tootsies, you've got cute shoes to wear!

Hope you're having an awesome Tuesday!
xoxo

  2. Great shirt!!

On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the worst) how painful is it to get a stomach tattoo?

    1. Oh geez, thats so hard. It's a pretty big piece that covers my whole stomach from between my breasts to a few inches below my belly button so there were a whole bunch of different sensations. My ribs were the absolute worst, honestly probably my most painful out of everything I have done. But my actually stomach wasn't all that bad at all. The worst part was my birth mark. I have a raised birth mark on my stomach that kind of looks like a big scar, it was incredibly painful to cover!

  3. OMG Kaylah, I am so much loving this outfit!! First of all, that t-shirt is rad (and I had no idea whatsoever what did the word 'jackalope' stand for so I had to search it in order to understand it, one more word to my English vocabulary, though not such an useful one haha!)
Secondly, I have to say this outfit of yours just made me wish I had suspenders! I always though of suspenders as men wear (as I rerember my dad wearing them) but you just made me feel very tempted to buy me some on Ebay!!

  10. That shirt is awesome! And don't even get me started on the Loch Ness Monster. I had to do a report on conspiracy theories once, and 1. I'm convinced Nessy is real. 2. You wouldn't believe how many times I've reused that report during high school. The best report is the one that you can turn in five different times!

Haha but anyways, you look gorgeous as always. I love your smile!

  12. That has gotta be one of the most clever shirts ever! Glow in the dark, too?!?

I have a Bigfoot tee that I love so dearly and always find it fun to stomp in the woods wearing it. Maybe one day I'll come across the big guy himself and he'll approve of my clothing choice.

  21. That's so awesome! My son is a cryptozoology freak! Loves big foot etc and even has his own blog dedicated to it! (www.creaturesofmystery.blogspot.com). Need to get him that shirt!

  22. Oh my gosh this shirt is AMAZING! AND it glows in the dark??? What???? ::sound of head exploding::

I adore this outfit. The suspenders really make it special, and it's something I never would have thought to try. I like how yours aren't too tight - in the past when I've worn suspenders it can be a little too much like "look at my boobs!!!" But your suspenders are perfect! I know what I'm looking for next time I got thrifting...

  23. bandaid makes this blister guard stuff that is in a teal deodorant looking stick, it's about $5 and you rub it on your foot anywhere the shoe rubs you raw before you put those shoes on and i swear it works so awesomely, you won't get blisters at all! it's like miracle stuff!

    1. Just a second, they actually zip up the back! ;)

I don't think I could deal with having to buckle all those straps up every time I wanted to put them on and off, I'm pretty lazy when it comes to shoes.

  33. You look so pretty, and your outfit and hair match perfectly with the background, you remind me of those porcelain dolls. What I love the most, besides that amazing t-shirt is the necklace. I have been looking for a similar one for ages, but never managed to find one.
