they grow up so fast...

Wednesday, June 12, 2013

It's been a few weeks since I last updated on my plants. The sun hasn't been shining very much and it's been raining non-stop for the last week so I haven't even had to tend to them except to occasionally deadhead. There were even two occasions where it was going to frost at night so I had to drag all thirty-something plants (yes, I've gotten a few more since last update) into the garage. Despite the lack of sunshine and close brushes with frost they've all still grown leaps and bounds. I am one proud plant momma.
Here's a peek at some of my favorites. I actually took these pictures while it was raining outside, the lighting was so nice I couldn't resist, so that's why everything is wet and some of my planters are covered in dirt.
It's so fun to see how much everything has grown already. I see them everyday so it isn't until I look at picture I realize how far they've come already. I can't wait to see what they look like in a few more weeks.

  1. I can't wait til I have a house of my own so I can start a garden. I tried growing a sunflower with this little $1 kit thing I got at Target, but once I transferred it to a bigger pot and put it outside, an animal ate it. :(
