lots of Lloyd - The Dainty Squid

lots of Lloyd

Wednesday, June 26, 2013

I just wanted to share some photos of my favorite stray today. Lloyd is seriously the sweetest little dude. Nearly everyday when I open the back door on to the deck he magically appears, begging for food and some scratches on the back. It's like he sits and waits somewhere until he hears the door open. The way he runs up to me just to weave between my legs or flop down at my feet melts my heart. He's also a complete ham for the camera which automatically makes any animal a real good friend of mine!
I have some good news about him too! I've been talking with someone interested in giving this little kitty a furrrever home. I am so so so happy to know he's going to have a somewhere warm and cozy to sleep every night and someone to give him lots of love every day. It's a bit selfish but I'm not at all ashamed to admit I'm going to miss this little dude... A LOT. Luckily we still have a little while together before everything is figured out so I still get to hang out with him everyday for another month or so.
xoxo

  8. What a cutie! I love his markings. I'm also a big fan of cats who ham it up. My neighbors came over for a meeting last night and my cat, Hank, decided he would be providing the entertainment for the evening!

  16. I love that you found him a home.

There are many strays which visit our garden,
but they're not as tame as Lloyd seems.
