My fifth photo an hour post of the year! This one chronicles the first full day with my license, May 22nd, 2013. Nothing too exciting, I mostly did lots of driving around but it was still a really exciting day for me.

7am //  checking on my plants...
See the living stones there, the tall guys with the split tops? I just realized how much they've grown since I bought them. Here's a picture from just a few weeks ago. That is exciting! I'm a proud plant momma!
8am // dressed and ready to head out on my first day day as a driver...
9am // made it safe and sound to my first stop of the day, Salvation Army...
10am// Next stop - the mall! My very first photobooth photos alone + a pretzel!
I'm pretty sure I might have ordered "cinner sugarman" pretzel. Eeep! I clearly need to work on my talking to strangers skills. Although spoonerisms like that don't only happen when I'm talking to strangers, I'm always accidentally doing that.
11am // I stopped over at my brother's house to visit with my nieces who just got into town...
My goodness I missed that little face! It's been a year since they've been living in Germany.
12pm // "somebody puss meeee! peeees!"
1pm // preparing for an afternoon spent at the beach + having a snack of my favorite new hummus...
Bathing suit top is from Target, the bottom is from Sugar Doll. Here is a picture of it on in case you're curious.
2pm // sitting in the sand looking for beach glass...
3pm // a hankering for ice cream lead me on a wild goose chase,  so I ended up stopping at another beach and hanging out for a little while...
I never did find any place to get ice cream!
4pm // back home with my beautiful girl, Squid...
5pm // lounging in the backyard reading a new book.
6pm // set off to take some outfit pictures and ending up watching this little guy for at least ten minutes...
8pm //After a quick trip to the grocery store (where I forgot to take a 7pm picture) I arrived back home with a treat for the cats - a new box! Hah!
And that's that!

    1. Just some small glass bottles I grabbed to keep beach glass in, and a polka dotted shirt. Nothing too great.

  20. If you are up to get your car a little dirty, one thing I love to do it's to get my dog Prince, and walk with him on the beach. It's just great :)

Those living stones grown like crazy! My suculents looks like they are freeze in time.

  25. Those living stone plants are the neatest things! Have yours split open yet? A new plant pops right up the middle. Sometimes they flower and it is pretty magical!
