But when I made these I realized it was totally possible to make perfect ones at home. The recipe I used can be found here on Yummy Mummy Kitchen. The only thing I changed about the recipe was to add 1.5 teaspoons coconut extract, just to give them a little bit more of a coconut taste. (True to Kaylah baking nature! I'll always either add coconut or cinnamon to something. Those are my two favorite flavors when it comes to sweets.) I also only baked them for 5 minutes. I like my sugar cookies melt in your mouth soft and these absolutely were.
I'm super stoked to make these again. I'll finally be able to use all the awesome cookies cutters I've been hoarding away.
