where I work...

Wednesday, March 13, 2013

I just wanted to share a few pictures of my work space/closet today. I guess it's considered a slash closet when you keep most of your shoes, clothes and accessories in it. But it's my personal sanctuary. I love looking at all my things displayed around the room. It's colorful and bright in here and it always makes me smile (uh, except when it's a mess!)

Last time I blogged photos of this room I mentioned how I loved taking and sharing photos of it because it changes so often. It's often little changes too, donating something, bringing something new in, so sometimes I don't really realize how much it's changed until I look back. My most recent new additions are the succulents on my desk. This winter is really bumming me out. I'm ready for leaves to be back on the trees and birds to be singing outside my window. The succulents are just small but the impact they're making on my day is tremendous!

Hope you're having a lovely day!
xoxo

  12. I love all of the colors! I notice you organize your clothes by color too! My husband always teases me about doing this, but it makes things easier to find. I always joke that I decide what to wear that day by what speaks to me. :P I know what you mean about the winter, I am itching for some green leaves and grass. ;) Soon I hope.

  13. What an awesome space! Your closet space looks like a dream! I love how you've organized it in rainbow order; I read somewhere that that's the most beneficial way to do it (something to do with mood and good organization). This inspires me to do more with my work space!

  48. Beautiful! I love your wood desk with all its shelves of nifty items, the shoe rack with cat butt, the polaroids, and even that open journal...makes me want to start writing down ideas. :) I also bought some succulents this winter as I was feeling a little dreary from the cold. The haven't started growing yet, but I can't wait for spring when they will flourish, just like me! Have a bright day and thanks for sharing your awesome sanctuary. :)
