instagram recap

1 // Yesterday Lloyd showed up for the first time in a few weeks. He came back fatter and friendlier, if that was even possible. I guess he'd been hiding away from the snow somewhere with lots of food. I can't even express how happy I am to see him and know he's okay. (PS. I'm obviously still 110% interested in finding him a forever home, if you're anywhere near Cleveland, OH or Erie, PA and want a new best kitty friend let me know!)
2 // I got this super cute camera necklace and dachshund brooch in the mail from Polli.
3 // This was a scene from day two of being sick and stuck in bed (Thursday). I started and finished one book and started another. That is the only positive thing about being stuck in bed sick, lots of reading time.
4 // On the first day I was sick I woke up from a nap with Doctor Octopus on belly with his paw on my face. It was super sweet. It's adorable how the cats really seem to know when you need a little bit of extra lovin'.
5 // Speaking of kitties knowing - as soon as I laid down on the first day I was sick Squid immediately hopped up in bed with me and nudged at me to lift the covers. She laid down underneath them with her head out and curled up against me. She stayed like this for at least five hours! My heart melted.
6 // My growing insect collection! For Christmas Santa Claus brought me a male and female atlas moth (they're currently my only two purchased insects in the collection, they're not native to the US so...) to relax and pin. I'm really proud of how great they look!
7 // Doing some cemetery exploring before sun down. I'm really looking forward to summer when outside evening activities aren't rushed to do before the sun sets at 5:20pm.
8 // Professor Stingray in his favorite place. Even though he always hops in the laundry basket it never fails to make me giggle.

Well I'm off to relax! I think I spoke too soon yesterday about getting over the flu. I ended up spending a lot of the day sleeping and the rest of the day complaining about only being able to breathe out of my mouth. Ha! So today's plans only include taking one cute little kitty to get a hair cut. Hope you all have a lovely Saturday!

You can find me on instagram as thedaintysquid, of course! If you don't use instagram but would still like to see all my pictures you can view them here.
