I am so in love with this skirt. It looks like a regular skirt, I know! But I've been going through all my clothes recently and reevaluating why I'm keeping them. I'm trying to get rid of lots of things I don't wear, things I don't absolutely love, etc. I had so many skirts that were adorable but I just didn't like the way they fit, or the length or the fact they wrinkled quickly. Those all took a trip to Goodwill. Now I'm trying to fill their space better clothes, things I'll wear more often and things that will last. This newly thrifted skirt fits that criteria. It was love at first sight when I spotted it last weekend. I normally always try on thrift store finds before bringing them home but this had a tag on the outside with the measurements and appropriately enough it was exactly my size. Totally worth five dollars!
Hope you're having a great Thursday!

I simply adore Your style, it's so unique yet very feminine <3!
ReplyDeleteBest greetings from Poland! :)
I'm also trying not to buy or keep things I won't wear. It's difficult to give away something I've had for a long time and that fits, but if I don't wear it it should rather go to someone who will.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh it's so lovely! You look gorgeous as usual and I love your hair that length :) x
ReplyDeleteLove the skirt! suits you very well and the color is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI always love your thrift store finds and I think this skirt was the bulls eye for you :) Perfect!

You look wonderful! It looks weird to me to see shoes and brown earth when up here in Canada we are in the midst of a white out! I've been reading your blog over Christmas and have been so inspired that I'm currently dying my hair purple (pimpin purple no less), thanks for the tips and inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit. Reminds me a touch of the girl scouts. Super cute. I also have been meaning to sort through my closet and rid it of unnecessary things.
ReplyDeleteHow are you SO cool?! Seriously LOVE your style. The necklace is perfect & I think you are carrying the Jo Totes Betsy bag in mustard... I've wanted that beauty forever! xx
ReplyDeleteyou're the queen of hats. it suit you perfectly :)

i'm in the same boat as you— sorting out my closet + getting rid of anything i don't ABSOLUTELY love. replacing donated items with quality ones is definitely worth it, i think! that skirt is a great find— i love the cut of it. oh and your shirt is wonderful, too! i guess i like everything about this look!
ReplyDeleteThe skirt is perfect!!! I love brown/green combos, but sometimes I have trouble looking too drab because I use sage colors. The color of the skirt makes your outfit pop. ;3
ReplyDeletebrown and green looks perfect together!
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with that bee necklace. I would love one like it (my name means honey bee in Greek).

ReplyDeleteLove those tights!
ReplyDeleteI would love to live near you and be able to shop at that Goodwill where you found that skirt and took your clothes to! Then I would have such beautiful and stylish clothes :) also I love your nails!
ReplyDeletecute shoes! :)Irene Wibowo
ReplyDeleteOh, I love perfect thrift store finds! I can never seem to find much in my size at our local thrift places (small girl stuck in the large-sized midwest) but those rare pieces that fit great are fantastic! Love the bug necklace too! :]
ReplyDeleteI love everything that you are wearing and not too long ago I became a fan of oxfords shoes. Why did it take me so long to buy a pair and now I want more. :) I love thrift shopping as well. I am a fan of your blog and I am no daring kind of person that would dye my hair pink or in teal blue, but somehow I love your style and your blog. LOL!
