Nail stickers (blogged about here // bought from here)
I had big plans to do Halloween themed nails all month long but to be honest, I'm not really feeling it. I'm finding myself more drawn to golds, reds, browns and others that aren't really Halloween colors, at least not in my eyes. But this week I compromised and did some monster nails. (Purple and green together remind you of monsters too, right?! Just say yes!) After I finished them and was admiring them one last time before going to bed it hit me - purple and green are also eggplant colors, ugh! Haha! Regardless if they look like eggplants, I'm going to still go with monsters.
I've been wanting to take a little break from nail stickers. Since discovering them I don't think I've done more than a couple nail designs without them. I've been digging through old photos from before I knew of this magically little invention and I realized I have been ignoring all my old favorites. Hello! Polka Dots! BUT this week when I did these I did the stickers way lower than normal and I'm quite smitten with how it looks. I normally place the stickers toward the top of my nail so that the second color is a lot smaller. I love the way this looks, it's just a small change but it really looks different. I'd like to do it some more, with all my tried and true color combos.
Hope you're having a great Sunday!
