Weekly Nail

by Kaylah Stroup

Supplies used…
Essie Mojito Madness
Milani Fresh Teal
Fresh Paint Spruce Street
Seche Vite as a top coat
Nail stickers (blogged about here // bought from here

This color combo was kind of an accident. I picked out the two green shades and paint those only to realize it looked a little too similar to this combo I did a little while back so I added another stripe on the top. Why I chose a blue I’m not sure (I’m not really a big fan of blue and green together) Luckily the green appears blackish instead of it’s actual color so it looks pretty cool.

I’ll end with a photo of Lloyd. It’s not the best photo of him, but it accurately shows what he does daily.  I want to bring him in so bad. He’s seriously the sweetest thing. Every morning he’s waiting outside our sliding glass door waiting for breakfast and he’ll usually sleep on the deck for a while before heading off to do whatever he does all day. Then he comes back in the evening for dinner and hangs out some more. On the day I took these picture he was being exceptionally lovey. The whole time I was taking pictures he was ramming into my legs with his cute little head. I just want to pick him up, spin him around and kiss him…but I’ll just settle for scratching his belly.

Well, I hope you’re having a fabulous weekend.
xoxo

Lovely nails! And Lloyd is such a cute fluffy ball of fur! <3 I wish I could pet him!

So cute, are you not allowed to pick up strays? In the UK we don't really have strays – too many animal shelters to let them be running around without someone looking after them. Would you be allowed to take him in? Sorry for all the questions, I'd just like to know more! xx

Oh, no, I could take him in! BUT with four inside cats already I'm not really ready to take in another. Someone would absolutely be allowed to adopt him.

At our last house we had a super friendly outside cat that we fed. For some reason we called her "Scaredy Cat" even though she wasn't afraid of us AT ALL and loved to rub on our legs and be pet. She was kind of gross (being outside and all) so we ordered Advantix flea and tick for her and we used to give her the monthly treatments. We didn't want to bring her in-we have 2 cats and 2 dogs-but giving her the flea and tick treatment made up feel better. At least she wasn't itchy and buggy!
She was such a great cat-after we moved I kind of regretted not bringing her. I just didn't wanted to be ther person that brings stray cats INTO the neighborhood. LOL.

So if you are wanting to do a little "more" for Lloyd that is a nice idea. It will improve his quality of life and you don't have to worry about any fleas jumping off him and coming in to your kitties!

I wish I could have the patience to do nails like that! whenever I paint my nails nicely they inevitably get ruined almost straight away by gluegun/paint/whatever messy craft I'm trying to do that day!

Do you ever match your toe nails to your finger nails? I love these posts, but I've always wondered that lol

The Dainty Squid October 1, 2012 - 4:29 pm

I'm going to let you in on a little secret…I HATE PAINTING MY TOE NAILS. They basically only get attention in sandal season. I really want to learn to love doing my toes too though.

It must have been tough fighting the urge to pet your kitty while your nails were drying, they look good.

mana September 30, 2012 - 8:44 pm

that kitty looks entirely too clean to be a stray – he must have a home in your neighbourhood!

I hope 🙂

He doesn't. A neighbor recently confirmed that he belonged to the people who lived in front of her and when they moved they left Lloyd behind.

I would say you should so just take him in already! But once they are a outside cat, it is really hard to keep them inside. Lovely pics as always!
