the details
shirt - c/o Romwe
belt - thrifted
camera bag - Jo Totes
skirt - thrifted
shoes - Salt Water Sandals

Maybe my thrift luck hasn't been so great lately because it's all being spent up in the clothing section, skirts to be specific. I've been finding so many awesome skirts lately! I'm certainly not complaining though. I'm loving it. A little back I started making the effort to put together separates (shirts and skirts) as opposed to only wearing dresses and I definitely needed more skirts. Now, some time has passed and I don't really need any more skirts but when I see a cute one that fits for an awesome price I can't exactly leave it behind. This is one of my recent finds. I'm a sucker for skirts with pockets, even if I rarely put anything in them. (who wants a lumpy skirt?)

Well, I'm off! I've got a house to straighten up and a mini dinner party to plan. Kevin and I are going to watch the last episode of Breaking Bad season four tonight and we decided to celebrate with dinner, snacks and just a little party of sorts. I'm so super excited (and nervous! I don't think I've ever been so stressed out by a TV show before.)

  18. One more thing....I know you've talked about your new found love of the salt water sandals, but I'm curious how you find the sizing? I wear a half size and I'm not sure if I should go up or down? Do you feel as though they've stretched with wear? Did they start out small, big or just right?? Any advice would be great. thanks.

    1. I think they're spot on, mine fit perfectly! I seem to recall reading on the salt water website if you're a half size to go up to the next one. The only time they really feel stretched is in the water and when they dry they go back to fitting your fit perfectly.

  29. shirt is perfect, just love shirts with no sleeves and with collar.

  30. A-line skirts with pockets work out really well as putting stuff in them doesn't make it look lumpy since the skirt is already pretty voluminous. I want to make an effort to wear more skirts that AREN'T A-line cuts.
