la sardina // x-pro chrome

Wednesday, May 23, 2012

Last month I got a La Sardina from Lomography. She sure is a pretty little thing and I've had a lot of fun playing with her. I shot a handful of rolls with it and got a bunch of photos that I can't wait to share.

These photos were taken with x-pro chrome film, which makes your colors pop. I had them developed at our local drug store but they apparently couldn't print them for me so of all places I ended up having to take them to WalMart where they were able to print them. I feel like I've been waiting forever to see the photos, they were all taken the last weekend that Elycia and Ivan came out.
I really dig the colors, especially in the first photo. I'll definitely be picking up more of this film to play with in all of my cameras.

I have a bunch more La Sardina photos that I'll be sharing over the next few weeks (and soon you'll have the chance to win one for yourself! ;))

If the photos turn out anything like yours, that's gonna be awesome.

  39. So gorgeous. I have a twin lens Holga that I use for lomo photos but I never know what to take pictures of. Plus I'm always forgetting my camera since it is a bit bulky. What lomo cam would you suggest that is pretty compact and takes awesome pictures?
