Just like the title says - just some gratuitous nail polish collections photos because I bought myself a pretty new rack for them! I wish I had a before photo of how disgusting they all looked shoved in a basket. I had so many ignored colors! Now I can see them all when I choose to do my nails, which as I've mentioned before is literally every other night (sometimes sooner!)
Don't they look so pretty organized by color? I've called Kevin into my craft room at least fifteen times to ramble on about how nice they look. I'm just crazy about it.
Since I really couldn't find much online about racks (I was mostly looking for decent photos to get an idea of what they looked like) I was hesitant to spend over 15 bucks on them but I took a risk and couldn't be happier! I bought this one, it is supposed to hold 90 nail polishes. It's currently holding 89 and, as you can see, has room for a few more.

I read my bf the part about you calling Kevin 15x to come look at it bc I do that too when I'm excited about something! I love the blues and greens, I definitely would love this collection. I love painting my nails, it makes you feel more put together. :)

Mmm, I definitely want one. My entire nail polish collection is currently stuffed into an old huggies wet wipe dispenser. It's not pretty. This is fantastic.

ReplyDeleteI really like it! You're right, they look super pretty displayed by color that way! My nail polish collection isn't THAT big yet, so I don't think a rack like that is warranted quite yet. But a new bottle of nail polish is my favorite way to treat myself, so I can see needing something like this in the future, ha ha!

ReplyDeleteLooks really nice and neat! I need one of these! When I buy nail polish I think it's better to spend $20 on a bunch of nail polish than paying $20 for getting my nails done. Oh and I love love that glitter polish from Revlon The 3rd pic, I put it on top of all my nail polishes!

This is so awesome!! I love rainbow-organized nail polish so much! I have mine on a little shelf in my bedroom in rainbow order but I only have about 20 bottles so far. 80 more to go and I then am totally buying this rack!

ReplyDeleteSince you're a thrifting pro, you could even try to find an old spice racks to use (once this is filled up of course). I've seen some girls use spice racks for their nail polish collection and I always thought it looked really cute.

ReplyDeleteToday I was in my local, very small thrift store and I was just browsing, like I do once or twice every week, and I found a Polaroid box and decided to look in it and found an instant film camera (!!!) I was so excited! I went straight to the counter and asked the man if it worked. He said he didn't know but I could bring it back if it didn't. I took it home and forgot about it until about 8pm. I looked up how much film was for it (it varies from $50 dollars to $140 dollars) then I was playing with it. I found out it works (!!!) AND still has left over film in it!!! Ah so excited. I feel like you because you ALWAYS find awesome stuff in thrift stores and lately I haven't.
If you were curious as to what kind it is, the instructions say 600, 636 and 637. Hopefully you can help me on what that means but it says it takes 600 film, which is what I looked up.

ReplyDeleteSo, if you change your nails that often, you must have a very trusty reliable remover that you use. Do you mind sharing what it is? Sometimes I get deterred from making my nails the pretty colors I want because removal is such a pain.

ReplyDeleteOoh, so pretty! I really want one, too. I have mine organized by color in my medicine cabinet, but many of them are getting all scrunched up together in a pile now because there is no room for my growing collection. I don't have nearly as many as you, though!

Holy crap this is awesome! If I had a good place to put this, I would buy one in a heartbeat. I don't have anywhere near that much nail polish, YET, but at least I would know I had room to keep growing my collection! So great.
