Some photos of my craft room!
Not a lot has changed since the last time I posted pictures except for the fact I've hung lots of things on the wall. (older pictures here, for reference) Doc is the best sewing buddy you could ever ask for. He is almost always sitting on the back of the chair, keeping my head warm!
xoxo!

Cutest kitty chair warmer ever, I love your colorful and roomy craft room and can't wait to have a huge one like it.
ReplyDeleteQuestion- are those live cacti? If so, how do they fare down there where there is little light?
GAH! You are so inspirational, and I have the utmost JEALOUSY of that fabric stash oh my *swoon* I don't know if you've ever written about it, but how did you get really started into sewing, and turn it completely into a full time job? That would be my dream, to stay at home and do what I love. I would love to hear how others have made this their reality!

Nice, really nice. Looks like that room contains everything a cratfy person can dream of. Plus a cat. When can I move in? :)
ReplyDeletelove the room!
ReplyDeleteCarrie

ReplyDeletefabrics stash, sewing machine, wide room, threads, owlies!!
my room was a mess. inspirational room like this really needed. i think i really have to put more desks and boxes. inspiring photos and vintage frame are good combo too. Soo inspiring room i want to have!
Your craft room is gorgeous. My cats always want to sit on my lap when i sew :) xx
ReplyDeletei LOVE it! so inspiring really makes me want to upgrade homes! hehe xx
ReplyDeleteYour room is so awesome! I can't believe your fabric!
ReplyDeletei love your craft room! so organized! and so much space...my studio is sooooooo cramped :(
ReplyDeleteI like the curtains with the sprout pattern - so cute! Your area looks so large and awesome to work in :)
ReplyDeleteVan, they are real, and I have no stinken idea! They've been down there since I started working down there (at least five or six months) and are actually growing!
ReplyDeleteThank you all so much! :D
uh-freakin-mazing
ReplyDeletei knew there was something wrong with my craft room!
Oh wow! I am feeling envious right now.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing studio room. It looks huge and well organized. I can definitely see the space inspiring lots of crafting.
ReplyDeleteOh I loooove it, those curtains are precious! and I love how you have the poloroids arranged!
ReplyDeleteI have a question about your cutting table, I've been planning my craft/sewing room for a while now and I'm about to start purchasing cabinets and counter tops and I certainly need a nice cutting space. It looks like you have a ginormous self healing mat there! If so..where can I find one nice a big for my future cutting spot?
Thanks for always inspiring :)
Oh man I am soo jealous of your sweet craft room!! I hope I can have one that awesome one day. I live in a studio apartment with two separate room...kitchen/dining room and then living room/bedroom. The kitchen/dining room area is what I like to call my craft "area", with my table, craft and fabric stash, sewing machine, yarn, etc. Yours is such a bright and vibrant room, it must be amazing to get down to some crafty business in there!!
ReplyDeleteAww your craft room is so charming! It's awesome you have a space dedicated to creating. I hope to have my own craft room in my home, someday.
ReplyDeleteLove and Turtledoves,
Jaco
That is so sweet! I love how there's a kitty in almost every photo :)
ReplyDeleteDo you want to trade craft rooms? I LOVE your craft room! Mine is currently a makeshift sewing area set up in my dining room. I have to break it down and pack it away at least a couple times a week so it doesn't make the house look like a disaster. I hope there is a really good reason why California homes don't have basements.
ReplyDeleteYou have the most inspiring craft room ever! I keep telling my husband that when we get our own place, I want to get a craft room like yours!
ReplyDeleteRight now I have a corner desk (I made it so it's awesome) and a cabinet in one corner of my bedroom...and the lizard cage is directly behind it so it's kind of awkward to craft.
Mando, I got the mat from Joann fabrics. :)
ReplyDeleteNillaWafer, I know how that is, while this one was being built I was in the dining room. It made the whole house look like a wreck!
Thank you all so much!! :D
Oh my those kitty pics are too cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat a little squidge!
oh my! seriously your craft room is very very spacious!! It's seems to be very organized too! THE heaven! :p
ReplyDeleteSo amazing! Chris and I are sharing our craft room, so it's the craft and music room, plus it doubles as the guest room. I can't wait to have a serious craft room all to myself!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
susannahbean
i envy your huge craft room! its awesome :)
ReplyDeleteCan I steal your craft room please?! Sooo awesome. Love the organization and the space :) Looks like a great space to get a lot done. I think I would always feel inspired there.
ReplyDeleteOh and your cats are adorable too! :)
Awww he keeps you company & wears your head! Lucky! ... My dogs grab my supplies, make a dash for the door, and I only find bits and pieces ALL over the house. I don't have multi-purpose dogs :(
ReplyDeletehahha, multipurpose dogs! i suppose my cats are multipurpose kitties! :P
ReplyDeletewait, that's not to say Doc is the perfect little helper! He enjoys trying to eat copious amounts of thread that I have to pull out of his mouth!
ReplyDeleteSo what size is that mat? I got mine at Joann too but I've never seen one so big! I did find some online that are quite large, they are pretty pricey! I won't have to get one till I start building my space but I, like you, love to "window shop" online. I'm sort of addicted and it's a real bummer when ya have very little $! D:
ReplyDeleteAt least it is out of his mouth & not out the other end.
ReplyDeleteHi! Just wanted to share a vegan muffin recipe I tried out today - I know you're always on the hunt. It's soooo good, and not fussy at all.

ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous room! I want a "reading room" when I am older. With just bookshelves on every wall. That would be magical. x
